Countdown timers are great for
fixed workout times, say a 15-minute run, a 30-minute walk or anything
you could use a timer for. Your watch comes with 10 pre-set timers: 1,
3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45 (minutes) and 1 hour. Timers 30 minutes or
greater have a special halfway alert. For example, an alert would sound
15 minutes into a 30-minute bike ride indicating a 'turn-around' time.
- Push the MODE-PULSE button
to get to TIMER.
- Push SET-CLEAR (repeatedly)
to scroll through the 10 pre-set timers. Stop at the TIMER you want.
- Push START-STOP-- a beep
sounds --the Timer counts down to zero and beeps again. You can
interrupt the Timer (to take a break or stretch) by pushing
START-STOP. To resume, push START-STOP again. To clear the stopped
timer, push, and hold, SET-CLEAR.
