Why choose a Bulova Watch

Bulova watches have a great history. Bulova has been an innovator from day one. They have always believed in making a quality timepiece. Bulova came to be back in 1923 when Joseph Bulova Immigrated to the United States. At the age of 23 he opened a small jewelry shop in New York, which is where Bulova is still Headquartered to this day. Bulova started its life as a watch company by making wall clocks and pocket watches. During World War II Bulova switched to making wristwatches, which at the time were becoming more prominent. Bulova is probably best known in collectors circle for the Bulova Space view which was the first electronic time keeping device. The space view used electronics combined with a tuning fork. This type of movement also becomes the first watch ever certified to be a railroad watch. Bulova had brought back a modern version of the Accutron spaceview, which I was fortunate enough to get a model of in the box to keep. I also own an old 14k gold Bulova 24 jewels men’s watch that I had restored. Its an oyster case Mens watch. Its a great collectors item. Bulova watches are still being produced today. They are still making accutrons as well as many other models that are innovative watches with precision parts. Anyone that has ever owned a Bulova will tell you that they are great time pieces that are made to last as well as looking great. Bulova also has a great selection of women’s watches. One of the watches I found interesting is made to be hypoallergenic for anyone that has problems with their skin getting easily irritated. Keeping with tradition there are also 2 pocket watch models still in production. A few mechanical movements are still available by this watchmaker. Bulova makes many different models designed for all lifestyles. You can find dress watches, Chronographs as well as modern designs in all categories. One of my favorites is there tank style chronograph.
